Has anyone ever heard this from the Whitehouse??? I had not but found it on their website.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff And Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez Announced A Series Of Reforms The Administration Will Pursue To Address Border Security And Immigration Challenges. The following reforms represent steps the Administration can take within the boundaries of existing law to secure our borders more effectively, improve interior and worksite enforcement, streamline existing guest worker programs, improve the current immigration system, and help new immigrants assimilate into American culture.
Bush doesn't want border security, he wants a North American Union with no borders. When Bush talks about the need for border security it's just cover for the political fortunes of the republicans running for reelection. He wants to legalize 20 to 30 million illegal aliens and pretend it's immigration reform.
Furthermore, with 5 to 10 thousand illegal aliens sneaking across our border every single day, the two to three hundred illegals they bust working at meat plants once or twice a month, don't amount to anything other than a photo op. Especially when they cut half loose after the arrest for humanitarian reasons to care for their anchor babies.
Never ever listen to what a politician says, always pay attention to what he does instead. There's usually a world of difference. Bush and his administration have no real intent of enforcing our immigration or workplace laws. It's all political speak and cover for the upcoming election.

That information is old and is part of the "comprehensive immigration reform" he and others tried to ram down our throats and failed. So for now, at least, it's invalid.

This is so true! Politicians: Beware of some who say they want to penalize employers hiring illegals because some want to do this AFTER they give all illegals z-visa cards to be here legally (as in failed amnesty bill), while a few politicians do not want to give illegals z-visa cards at all, just send them all back home through employer hiring illegals penalties.
Crittersitter, tune into Lou Dobbs on CNN every night
to get the real story on the government. It's an awesome show about what's really happening in America and best of all what's not happening. It's usually on at 7:00pm eastern standard time. Lou tells it like it is...no b.s. and he's become quite the HERO. Many people are now becoming independents because they don't like either the Republican nor the Democratic party. ROCK ON, LOU. MOONBEAM
