Depends. If you're from a VWP country, you don't need a visa. If you're not, you do. Contact the US Embassy in London; people here are not immigration experts.

Visa Waiver Program (VWP)

Embassy of the U.S. London

If you require a tourist visa to the US, the US Embassy in London is where you'll have to get it from. You should also ensure that your UK visa allows you to leave the UK and re-enter, and you should also check with the Home Office to determine how much time you can spend outside of the UK without invalidating your visa.

Good luck!

Why would you need a visa to the US when your IP address indicates you are in Virginia?
