What do you mean 'good one'?

What do you mean 'the noose is tightening'?

The employers were, among others, the Port of Baltimore and Under Armour.

The employers aren't being busted, only a couple of contractors whose business is set up to protect the corporations and the government employers.

Big deal, they busted two guys in a trailer.

The Port of Baltimore and Under Armour are free to exploit the system that supports them again.

I agree, the prosecutions so far have been a joke. Pretty much a smoke screen designed to pacify voters before the next election. We have how many millions of illegals working here in the US? And these very few measly arrests are supposted to make a dent in the criminal activity?

I hope these guys get the max.

You can hope these guys get the max, and all that does is placate some people who will then think enforcement is 'working'.

Who cares about these two? They'll be replaced by two more in the morning.

We could jail hundreds like these two and it wouldn't matter at all.

The corporations and the government should be held responsible, they are the ones you should hope get busted. They are the ones who should 'get the max'.

Ain't gonna happen, the Bush administration cronies won't let it happen. The corporations will get a pass and nothing will change.

Two bozos will be contributing to prison crowding, .....big deal.

It sends a message all right:

The message reads, "If you are a corporation or a government contractor, you can avoid any prosecution by gaming the system and hiring through a fall guy.

The message reads, "Business as usual will not be impacted".

The message reads, "All you have to do is set up a patsy in a trailor, do that and you're home free, you will suffer absolutely no consequences and you can continue to exploit the cheap labor."

End of message.

Hey Maryland is soft on illegals. They are one of the states that give them driver's licenses. When some Virginia localities starting cracking down on illegals they fled to Maryland where they were met with open arms. Maryland, for all intense purposes, is a sancutuary state.
