PHOENIX — The dismissal of a legal challenge to a new Arizona immigration law doesn't signal the end of the attempts by business and immigrant right groups to overturn provisions punishing employers who knowingly hiring illegal immigrants.
Why should they stop? The 9TH circuit court of appeals is the most liberal pro-illegal alien circuit in the nation.
Personally, I think we may be seeing a showdown that could work itself all the way up to SCOTUS. If Bush did anything right in his presidency it was appoint the two conservative justices. They very well may decide issues that will affect immigration law and policy for generations.
