Authorities released them on 1 condition. That they show up for their court date...... Yes they will be there and ready to accept the judgment. Believe that and you believe the moon is made of cheese.
I'm not infavor of 'catch and release.' However, I don't know what the alternative is if law enforcement and/or the judiciary aren't appropriated sufficient funds to hold/house, feed and try those who are apprehended in accordance with the 'speedy trial' types of legislation. What comes first? The 'chicken', or the 'egg'?
I think more American women should stay home and have several kids. The Gov has plenty of money to help you stay home and raise kids. 2 working parents is counter productive.

Yes it is a joke. Why would they show up? Its no reason for them to show up like they will follow the law.
What's amazing is how many of these buses are involved in fatal accidents -- nothing is done about uninspected buses and criminal drivers choosing to break the laws that require a limit on hours they drive --- when it's about hauling people from the border to all parts ot the USA, anything goes. There was yet another deadly crash the other day.
Because when there are no background checks of any kind being done and anyone can cross that border and go where ever they like in the US, you know many violent criminals will grab that opportunity. It's a great way to avoid justice in their own country. Murder someone, head over the border and you won't be caught.
And you understand that even legal immigrants from many countries do not have any "background checks" that are being done?...
