Thing is these kids are coming from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, the murder capital of the world. I feel badly for everyone involved---the local governments down your way, the kids, our government that got this problem dumped on our doorsteps, we tax payers who will foot the bills and the desperate parents of these kids who felt this was the best way to give their kids a future.

I seriously doubt that these kids are coming here due to deadly violence which puts their lives at risk. If that were so then why didn't their parents who are already here bring them with them in the first place? There is no economic distress (poverty) category for immigration nor should that be since that would mean we would have to take in the 2 billion on this planet that would fit that category. We do have a refugee category when human life is at risk but as I said I seriously doubt that most of these kids are coming here for that reason.
IMO, their parents already here have gotten wind of Obama's proposed amnesty and encouraged their kids whom they deserted to follow them now. Either that or their parents are still in the homeland and are pushing them to come here to get in on the amnesty.
We've invaded other countries who have had similar problems to help their citizens in their own countries but we didn't allow their citizens to come here by the thousands/millions. That's inhumane to our own citizens. I may be wrong but I don't recall other countries willing to send money to us under these kinds of circumstances. The solution isn't to import the world's poor here but to take action within those other countries. I am a Vet but I am not a fan of the latter particularly either. It's time for other countries to take care of their own problems and for a change start caring for our own citizens. It is costing us too much financially to keep getting involved.

Ok; please tell us here on CDF why those illegal kids are coming to the US since there's a solid line of Hispanic countries from Mexico to Argentina with Central America in the middle and they ALL use Spanish as their main language.

What "desperate parent" would encourage a minor child to come here either unaccompanied or with a coyote? How can any DECENT parent do such a thing? By, either encouraging them to come here unaccompanied or with a coyote, they are leaving these poor kids wide open to exploitation. They are vulnerable. Many girls get raped or sold into prostitution.

Agreed and word is many of the girls DID get raped in Mexico. Tho that info seems to be taken down by the "MSM"

The local newspapers in Central America are telling people the US has an amnesty program going.
They also quoted our beloved leaders who say that "children are not criminals".
Hence the "flood". And this comes on the heels of the WH extending the deferred Action for 2 more years.
