I find the lack of enforcement of current immigration laws and the flood of illegals (increased with the promise of Obama to ignore existing laws) to be quite puzzling. Such a policy will, of course, "fundamentally change" the nation toward third world status.

Is there another nation on earth which does not enforce its immigration laws and permits wholesale immigration across its borders? Can any nation survive, as a nation, with such a policy? How does importing a large group of uneducated, unskilled, and many times violent group of people benefit a nation?

I have a friend who often vacations in Italy since his study abroad program at a school in MD. I also have traveled to Italy as well.

Italy seems to have some sort of problem with Northern Africans (mainly from Tunisia as it is geographically close). They have refugee camps for these migrants as well. There is often deportations more or less in stands that are set up by these Northern Africans selling food, etc.

I'm sure I'm missing more here because its been a while that I've been to Italy and the conversation with my friend regarding this issue.

Nope. Not that I'm aware of.

If I waltzed across the border of Mexico because I wanted to live there and get a job, I'd be spending some quality time in a Mexican prison soon after I set foot on Mexican soil.

Most Americans are too lazy to do physical labor. If we ignore the criminals and deadbeats, the typical illegal immigrant is willing to do physical labor. There is your answer.

This nation needs people who are actually willing to work and sustain society. When was the last time you saw a white face in your nearest fruit or vegetable fields or picking up up your garbage or mowing your lawn or framing your house or cooking your meals? Most people won't admit it, but until Americans are willing to get up off their dead asses and do necessary work like that, illegal immigration will not be curtailed.

Sweden has huge problems of massive 3rd world immigration from the Middle East, as does England. However, most are legal immigrants but there are quite a number of illegals as well.

The problem is that the US location is proximity to central and south America. Many Americans like Hispanics illegals because they are the ones' who do labor that no Americans wants to do, such as cleaning, housekeepers and lawn workers'.

Well, that's according to Obama and some Democrats. We know they have a habit of deception and lying. For example, turning people back at the border is not "deportation."

Tell that to the busloads of unattended minors flooding our borders in just the last few days.

Correct. Who are the liberals going to believe? Their leaders or their own lying eyes? The liberals lack of honesty is astounding. The illegal immigration of children is up 92% since last year according to all media outlets, which is directly related to Obama stating he will not enforce the immigration laws. Just one example of reporting:

MSNBC: Influx of unaccompanied child migrants exposes strained system
06/03/14
By Amanda Sakuma

"Since Oct. 1, U.S. customs agents caught 47,017 children along the southwest border, an eye-popping 92% increase in the last fiscal year. According to administration officials, a rising number of those kids are younger than 13 and more of them than ever are young girls."

To answer the original question, none I know.
