Oh horrors, imagine those poor manager are going to actually have to hire legally working US people who aren't afraid to complain when they're asked to work unpaid overtime, work off the clock and actually work for minimum wage or...gasp...higher?

Yep, and it is about time that business who survive soley on illegals to lose everything if they can't survive with Americans. Who cares if they lose their business? I sure don't and neither do most Americans.

They don't even have to lose their businesses -- move them to Mexico. If they can't bring themselves to hire Americans -- or sponsor their immigrants through legal immigration -- then who needs these businesses here.

There are already legal avenues, if one can prove a need for foreign labor, there are ways to sponsor them but it also requires providing for the immigrant. These businesses don't want to go through any of that.

Gosh, the poor businesses will have to CUT THEIR PROFITS !!!!!, in order to pay decent wages.

That's what we call the "trickle down theory" - businesses hire people, and those people get decent wages because the businesses are doing so well, because of their tax breaks. Up to now, it's been the "trickle up" theory - the employees do NOT do well - all the "extra" money meant for wages goes to profits.

Thank you, Ronald Reagan, for this bit of wisdom (which never worked because he didn't figure in the greed factor).

Great point, Ozark-Baby,

Especially since they've been blatantly cheating the IRS as well as aiding and abetting common criminals while adding more and more deadbeats to the freeloaders lists.

I may be anti illegal; but, not all Mexicans are stupid. If anything; the truly dumb ones stay home because they would not survive the trek across our border.

Mexico a "festering cesspool"? Naw ... that's too strong!

It's more like a fetid, foul-smelling garbage dump, a filthy stinking roach-infested pit of a country, a grimy wasteland of greasy pimps and tequila-soaked 50-cent hookers, scrawny dogs that run like hell past the restaurants and ... um ... on second thoughts maybe it wasn't too strong...

Hey, I might be able to order a Big Mac by saying " I'd like a big Mac please" rather pointing to a picture and saying "Uno"
