I stopped going to our local fast food place because I felt the food was nasty. American teenagers may not work as hard, but I think most of them understand sanitation rules. Most American homes are run on a higher scale of sanitation than the illegal workers. You can't stand over someone and teach them everything like washing ones hands after going to the restroom.

OMG, is that the only reason you stopped eating at fast food places? If the germs from poor hygiene don't kill you all the fat, sodium and preservatives will. Nasty stuff, don't eat there.

Actually; Filibertos may be OK.......they had a hugh illegal immigration bust about a year ago and evidently hired green card holders/US citizens to stay in business.

Default Any Arizona residents notice a change in the fast food industry workforce?

Now that the law has been cleared by a judge, is there any one who has noticed if more high school and college kids are coming back to work in fast food? I wonder if they will have to raise wages and increase the cost of a burger. Any experiences at the front lines?

A guy I work with has a friend who hires illegal immigrants. He says his friend has to teach them basic hygiene rules like washing your hands after using the bathroom, and using toilet paper to wipe yourself. It's really scary.

I’m sure they will and no the wages won’t need to be increased.
You see “ignoretheanswer2” these jobs are for entry level workers. These jobs have never been a “carrier”, but a path for students and entry level workers to gain work experience.
It wasn’t until the 30,40,50,60 year old Mexicans in border states took these jobs from the entry level student workers did it become an illegals carrier. Then the democrats decided to pander to the illegals and pass a minimum wage law that hurts small businesses and limits the already few entry level student jobs.

All anyone needs to do is go to a non-border state and you will find students working at these places just like it was before the invasion.

Why would wages go up? Answer, they won't - don't need to.

These are "entry" level jobs - and many high school kids are more than happy to work for minimum wage -

Even if they did go up, I would be willing to pay more for food prepared by workers who are familiar with the basic concepts of sanitation and who have undergone a proper health screening.

Actually I think you are the racist for hiring foreign citizens over Americans for the purpose of keeping wages down. Using smear words like "anglos" -- that is certainly very racist.
