These minors/children are *NOT* all or even a minority Mexicans. Most if not all are from the Central South American countries of San Salvador, Honduras and so froth. They make their way to the Rio Grande border with Mexico via smugglers and trafficers the same as those from Africa, Europe, Cuba, Middle East etc..., via that established and by all accounts very profitable network.

Not sure I buy that. I'll believe it when I see it happen. And we should've been announcing to other countries long ago, like Biden will do now, that if you enter here illegally and we catch you, you are not going to stay. This also brings up the fact that our government has continued to fail in its obligation to secure our borders. Put troops down their now while a fence and other measures are put in place.

Obama once said he was against SSM, but since he "evolved" won't shut up about it.

Obama once said he would end US involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan but can't quite seem to let either place go.

Long story short what Obama says and what he does are two different things. Much depends upon which way the political winds bends the twig.

LOL..they can't stay.

The Border Patrol training facility in NM is being turned into a housing shelter for families since the one in Texas is over capacity.
And Obama promised over $256 million in various parts to Central American countries to "take them back and reintegrate them".

LOL..so now we're paying these countries to take them back.
Yet we're doing catch and release here in the US and the government can't tell who is showing up for their hearings and who isn't.

US to open immigrant family detention center in NM

While there is blame to go around a lion's share falls to Obama and the Democrats/liberal left. This deluge of illegal crossings by minor children cannot be dismissed as mere reaction to local conditions on the ground. No, the perception given by the current administrations varied and vast executive actions regarding deferral of deportation for a host of reasons/persons gives more than enough fuel to market hope that once arrived on these shores the children will remain.

Sadly again this is probably what is going to happen at least in a good majority of cases. So now the government of the most powerful nation on this earth is reduced to begging failed states such as San Salvador and Honduras to taking these children back. Italy and other EU nations have been begging African countries to take back illegal immigrants from that part of the world as well, and you can see how well that is going. Italy and much of southern Europe if not the EU as a whole is more and more overrun with Africans and those from the Middle East.

That's because Obummer is a moron. Impeach him NOW. Whoops, maybe I will get audited by the IRS next year? Or perhaps Obummer and that other low life filth of a crook Holdup Holder will sell guns to the illegals which they will use to kill me?

For 2 years he said they could stay.
With a swipe his pen our laws got ignored.

And they came, and they came and they continue to come.

You say they can't stay ?
Why did you just renew Deferred Action for 2 more years.
It expired..those that were here were supposed to leave.

Agreed. I don't get it why other "Hispanic" countries won't step up and help their own people. Tho: "race card" here; maybe because the "kids" here are poor Indians, not rich white people so they don't count.

Upper middle class and or wealthy "anglo" looking South Americans do not need to sneak across borders. They can just come to the USA on various visas ranging from tourist to education and never leave. Then there is just finding a way to change their status such as finding an employment sponsor or via marriage.

The constant promise of amnesty for all is also fueling illegal immigration. We have been saying this for years and yet all we get are nasty labels put on us for opposing it. The 1986 amnesty is proof of that. Now we have at least quadruple the number of illegal aliens here today.

The Dream Act proposed never promised that kids could stay here who weren't already living here in the first place. The requirements to qualify include:

Quote:
.....entering the country when they were under 16 years old, proving they have continuously lived in the U.S. for at least 5 years and graduated from a U.S. high school or obtained a GED; demonstrating their good moral character; proving they have not committed any crimes that would make them inadmissible to the country. Only then can they obtain a conditional status for a limited period of time.
Get The Facts On The DREAM Act | The White House

None of those requirements apply to the flood of kids coming here now. Obama, along with everyone else, is saying the flood of kids can't stay. They will get deported with due process according to our laws governing illegals not from Canada or Mexico.
