Then they shouldn't have been referred to as children. It's misleading and intentionally meant to tug at the heart strings.

Doesn't tug at my heart strings. They need to go back to their parents. Isn't Obama for the family unit? These kids didn't bring themselves into the world.

Oh, what a mess, and it will continue until we are all tapped out of money, resources and room. Then what?

Obama's idea of retaining a family unit is to re-unite them all on our soil and allow the whole family to remain here.

I vote for this....... I also think each person who voted for President Obama should take 2 illegals into their home. Foster homes are needed!

The party of CHAOS is at it again!

Children don't wear a size 3X - 5x underwear, or do they? Sounds to me more than children are coming in.

I didn't even know 5x was a size......my gosh, they certainly are not hungry! Sounds like more people with health issues.

The trouble with taking them to the White House lawn is that Obama will call groups like CASA de Maryland and Project Hope and Harmony who will then send buses. Then they will arrange to move them into flophouses in DC, MD and VA. We in the DC area are already inundated with illegals

The illegals have found a hole in the US law and are taking advantage of it. The proper response is to modify the law but how to do that is not clear and will be contentious perhaps to the level of being unable to do it.

And note that these children may well not be illegal or breaking any law. They turn themselves in to the Border Patrol as soon as in the US. And some likely have a legitimate claim to escape terror.

What a mess....
You actually believe that these "children" from Central America (who don't even speak English) have "found a hole in USA law". Really? You actually believe that?

“The United States is giving us a great opportunity because now, with this new law, we don’t have to try to cross the desert where so many people die. We can hand ourselves over directly to the authorities”.

There is NO "new law" ..... there is only the news reports that they can stay - which actually means that Team Obama refuses to follow USA Law.

Obama, Biden, Mrs. DHS (forgot his name), the DOJ have all spoken regarding illegals and their "rights".
Those words have gone back to Central America over the airwaves.

Sure it's a new "law" because the administration has said they are letting people go and not deporting.
Not following the law is a new law.

Biden was just in Central America and told the people these illegal minors will get lawyers to plead asylum for them as they are running away from drugs and crime and fear for their lives.
Biden said that on their TV airwaves.

It is in fact an old law. But it is a law and it is the law today in the USA.

It effectively says that minors have to be treated in a certain way.

Obama et al have no real control. There is no law that allows them to deport unaccompanied minor who claim refuge against violence and drugs at home. It may be mostly BS but you have to get it into a court to make that determination.

There is no workable place to keep the kids so they let go all they can.

It is difficult to even conceive of a fix that will satisfy the various groups involved. So likely we hang up right where we are.
