LOL..we just opened a "family" center in NM..the Border Patrol Training Center.
I guess with the hands off catch and release program the Border Agents don't need any training.

And never mind what it's costing us, Obama just promised over $250 million to this countries to try to keep their people from coming here !!!!

Tell me again how we have no money for our Vets...

New detention facilities will be opened to house immigrant families caught crossing the border illegally amid a surge from Central America, the Obama administration said Friday.

The first will be a 700-bed family detention facility at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, New Mexico, the Homeland Security Department said. The training center is home to the Border Patrol's training academy.

No, we need to return them to their country and let that government find the parents for reunification. Load them onto military cargo planes, transport them, and drop them on the tarmac. We have no obligation, legal or moral, to do more than that. At the moment of landing our obligation ends for anything other than to get them off of the planes safely that our plane may leave as quickly as possible. They're not our problem but every day they're here they're closer to becoming just that.

They are saying it will be 90-100,000 children by the end of this year.
Can you imagine the impact this will have on our schools ? How many expensive new ESL teachers will our tax dollars have to buy?
And next year will be another 100,000, and the year after that ....cuz neither party has the courage to step up and do what needs to be done to stop this.

The Mexican government is intentionally allowing tens of thousands of people, who are foreign to them, to use their northern border to flood the US. Obama can't even get them to release a 2 tour hero who was unfairly jailed.

Mexico needs to be taught a lesson through closing the purse, and restricting tourism. They need us far more than we need them.

For Republicans, there will never be a shortage of dishwashers and gardeners again. For Dems there will be that many more states turning blue, especially if they can figure out a way to bring the children's families in.

This seems to be how things work at the border.

I say give them a solid meal, and a one way BUS ticket nonstop to Mexico's southern border, and then bill Mexico for the fuel and labor, and force THEM to reunite them with sus familias.

They came here looking for US citizenship because Obama wanted to give amnesty for the young... Since Obama created the problem, he should be the one to give them the bad news and deport them...

It gets me how few people in this thread seem to know that our U.S. law prohibits the Department of Homeland Security from deporting these kids the minute they get here if they are not from Canada or Mexico. They have to be turned over to Dept. of Health and Human Services to wait for a deportation hearing. We are scrambling to take on more immigration lawyers to help facilitate the process but there is no quick and easy solution and its a waste of time to think otherwise. In the meantime, these are human beings that we can't turn our backs on and still call ourselves a morale and Christian nation.
