I posted this on one of the other thread, but it so alarmed me, I felt I should give it it's own Title.....

Germany's Volkswagen is scouting U.S. locations for as assembly plant. "We need high volume in the dollar zone," Volkswagen's production director, Jochem Heizmann, told the trade weekly Automobilwoche.

The plant would be part of the carmaker's Strategy 2018 plan to catch up with Toyota Motor (TM, news, msgs). While Volkswagen is Europe's largest carmaker, the U.S. market accounts for just a fraction of its sales.

Luxury carmakers are also making adjustments to their industrial footprint. BMW (BAMXF, news, msgs) and Daimler (DAI, news, msgs) are expanding American production in response to the dollar's falling value against the euro. BMW wants to increase capacity at its South Carolina plant by more than 71%, to 240,000 cars, by 2010.

"Most of these companies are based in the Southern U.S. because it's quite a low-cost location," said Gane of PricewaterhouseCoopers. "Wages there are not far off from what's being paid in Mexican border towns, where it's becoming harder to recruit workers."

Now you know why you're being bent over.... it's the monetary policy of the present administration that's behind you.

While you're distracted by something else, ...they're emptying the Treasury.

Yes but to think and say that it is only this admnistration shows a complete and utter misunderstanding of the whole history of the Federal Reserve and the UNconstitutional way it was founded and started.

The point still stands, it's this administration that's elevated to a high art the co-mingled thievery with the propagandized distraction, ......and it's this current lot of the public who act as if that's just fine.

They go out and march in the streets about overblown wedge issues, they picket abortion clinics, etc, they're more than ready to blame whatever scapegoat is produced, ....but do they do anything about being led down the garden path by those who are leading them down that path?

Nope, ....too busy with the 'crisis' dejour......

Why do you think the administration builds up the wedge issues?

They know the wedge issues will take attention away from them.

They have never paid any but lip service to any of the wedge issues, they don't pay them any mind other than to use them to keep the angry mobs at arms length.

They figure if you're fighting among yourselves, .....you won't have anything left to go after them.

And they are right..... It works perfectly.

Yes, I understand the powers that be have been baiting us for probably thousands of years. My main point however is the point that European companies love our low cost South in which to outsource jobs, instead of Mexico because the cost of labor is not much different and on top of that there is a labor shortage in the Northern Mexico border region. This is my gripe, because of those that say there is no opportunity in Mexico for Mexicans and you can add central americans to that as well because they could take those jobs in Northern Mexico that surredly pay much more than what any employment they can attain in Guatemala etc.

Ah yes, the old "wedge issue" canard.

Seeing that about three-quarters of the population opposes illegal immigration, it would be the pro-illegal side that is driving the wedge.

You know, the troll keeps "blaming" ... "this administration" for every ill conceivable in this country - gee, you might think he is a neo-leftist or something!

Truth is, true Americans, true THINKING and LOYAL Americans, of all political persuasions, oppose ILLEGAL immigration - they understand the adverse consequences, culturally, financially and politically to our way of life.

I have seen numbers in excess of 80% of these TRUE Americans want illegal immigration addressed - not talked about - dealt with. They also understand that there may not be one solution that will satisfy everyone - that is pretty much a given.

But one common denominator that keeps coming up is, the ABSOLUTE need to secure our borders - BORDERSSSSSS - North and South

Might this take a change in our military's role? Maybe. Or, might it mean changing the mission of say, the Coast Guard? Maybe. Frankly, I don't know. But, secure the borders we must.

'Course, the Pro-Illegal’s, like the troll, will argue differently. But, people like the troll are very much in the minority here - and that is a good thing

Very true indeed and of course since they know they are in the wrong then it comes time for them to play the race and bigot card because most of them are the racists and bigots, so they know what one really is.

It's another card game?

....and who is driving the wedge?

The point is that it's not a game of who's more popular or who is on which 'side' of some imagined argument or game.

Why focus the majority of your attention on playing a game or arguing some position that you're on some higher road than another.

By and large, where you're directing your energy isn't where the decisions are made.

Rather than ignore the conditions which encourage illegal immigration,

...rather than play games consisting of nothing much more than bickering amongst those who aren't making any decisions about those conditions,

why not direct that attention on who is making policy?

You can posture and postulate, ....but to what end?

You won't change anything until the policy makers are held to account.

It's not your neighbor who is making policy and it's not your neighbor who is making a profit off of illegal immigration.

Ah, yes,

great day, if one doesn't hew to the dogma of the narrative, well then, as great day will tell you, that person is a troll, a leftist, an illegal lover, he's treasonous, he's not a true American, he's for open borders, ...what else?

Nowhere can you quote anything I've said that supports any of those labels.

But that doesn't matter to great day, he can make those assumptions because that's all he's capable of comprehending.

Ask him if there might be something more that he might consider and he's off to the races, ....nope, not going to think, not going to pay no mind to anything but the proscribed narrative, ......he's just going to react on auto-pilot, and attempt to discredit, any way he can dream up, whoever brought up the idea that one might think of some alternate concerns.......

Keep on thinking you're addressing a solution, great day.

In a few more years, when nothing has changed, you can say you fought the good fight.

You can say you tried to assign blame somewhere, ....you tried to identify your 'enemy'.

.....trouble is, if you don't figure out where you should place the blame, you'll end up repeating the same mistakes over and over and over.

Have an adequate day.......
