A group of Cuban migrants who were anchored in an open wooden boat off the Cayman Islands for nearly two weeks obeyed a local government order to sail away on Friday, continuing their risky sea voyage in a quest to reach the United States.

Cuban boats smuggling people seeking to flee the communist-run island are frequently seen off the Cayman Islands, a British territory located less than 100 miles (160 km) south of Cuba.
They are usually headed for Honduras, from where migrants make the long journey overland to reach the U.S. border with Mexico.
Wow, the boat people actually "obeyed" officials!! Too bad our government doesn't do the same thing instead of welcoming these invaders with open arms... to Texas they go.
So...how will it work? For example, there is the whole wet foot/dry foot thing with the Cubans. If the Cuban boat people manage to put a foot on dry land, they are allowed to stay here. How does it work if they attempt to enter via our land borders?

Yes.....under wet foot/dry foot they can get asylum...it is very easy to prove oppression.
I have recommended helping Americans become employed again by having them round up Illegal Criminals and deliver them to the border, unharmed, and they get a bounty. That would put a lot of American’s back to work and help rid our Nation of these Criminals.
According to one agency there are a bunch of CHinese and Indians also in the detention centers. If the Chinese and Indians can come through Mexico, what is keeping middle eastern suicide bombers in training from blending in with the Hispanics? Weren't we just shown photos of young kids, not even in their teens with automatic weapons in Iraq?
I am so angry at our government. If this was any other country and 2000 plus were illegally crossing our border, a leader would have called out the national guard. This is ethnic "cleansing" of America without a women raped and our government is doing their own number on our 18-26 year old men by sending them off to wars where we don't belong. Then we have PA going to give them drivers licenses, NY is giving them residency documents, CA drivers licenses and CT a sanctuary state. Either we as Americans have to decide if we want open borders or to remain a sovereign. If the American people don't get their act together we are going to be like Iraq in a few years ourselves facing civil war.

Middle Easterners have been sneaking across the southern border for years. People who volunteer their time cleaning up the trash that illegals leave in fragile desert ecosystems have found prayer rugs, Korans and diaries written in Arabic among the tons of trash.
Some years back, a woman who lived on a ranch in AZ that was at the border happened to leave her house door unlocked. She went into her kitchen and found over 20 Iranians in there!
