Uh; stay on topic please. Cubans are literally undocumented Americans as it stands right now. Mexicans don't get citizenship when the come here, only Cubans do, and have been for decades

Wrong. Nobody in LatAm calls themselves Hispanic until they get to the US, which is a term the US Census Bureau invented in the 1970s

Like I said: it's time to end "wet foot, dry foot" for Cubans. Treat ALL of them using the "wet foot" rule.
It's not just Cubans though. Seems word is out all over that there is no border between Mexico and the US.
There's children there from Ethiopia, India and China.
And they are not even headed to Florida.
They are headed to Honduras and then to Mexico and then across the Rio Grande.

Cuban boats smuggling people seeking to flee the communist-run island are frequently seen off the Cayman Islands, a British territory located less than 100 miles (160 km) south of Cuba.
They are usually headed for Honduras, from where migrants make the long journey overland to reach the U.S. border with Mexico.
Cubans get it anyway, the real problem is when the Haitians take to the sea. I'm reading the Chinese are sending their kids through Central America and up through Mexico already.
But if the Cubans get it anyway then why not just go straight to Key West (90 miles) ?

well it's great that the U.S. continues to be a land of opportunity for immigrants around the world, after all, unless you are Native American, then your ancestors were probably immigrants, so why turn around and keep those from other countries from coming in.

Here we go again! Even the Native American's ancestors were immigrants having come here from Asia.
You also seem unaware that the Native Americans were often at war with one another.
Also, when the pilgrims came here, there was no USA (just like when the Native Americans came here) thus no immigration laws.
Right now, we have over 300 million people in this country and we are running out of potable water and buildable land. Plus, our infrastructure is crumbling and there is no money to repair it all, let alone add more to accommodate millions more people.
If we don't get a handle on this issue, in no time we will be a country of 1 billion people with not enough potable water---you know, like India currently is like, for example.
I want better than that for my descendants.
