I saw that the center in Berks, PA is already in the process of trying to shut down, I don't know if they will succeed. The county officials say that the costs are overwhelming.

I am sure the rich people in S Americas are happy that we are taking in their poor. There is no way we can afford this influx.

I know there's a separate thread already, but did you see that idiot Guatemalan First Lady coming down to check on the condition of the facilities housing the children???

Why doesn't she do something about the conditions in her own country??!

Yep. Haven't voted GOP in 25 years - would never in my wildest dreams have thought I ever would again - but this issue has done it for me. So, that's one vote.

Internet tough guys. LOL
Illegals are not wanted here. What corporate 500 company is actively recruiting illegals? Small businesses? Yes. Make E-Verify the law of the land with harsh penalties and the practice would end.
2 meat packing plants within 20 miles of my house. Odd but at shift change it doesn't look like the UN rolling out. It looks like the community at large.
Ask for ID's? Why so Obama's goon squads can arrest you for doing their job?
Here is your challenge. If you like illegals so much invite a dozen or so to share your home. Take financial responsibility for them. Put your money and livelihood where your mouth is.

Early estimates indicate it will cost Two Billion + annually to house feed and cloth these recent arrivals. Curiously that’s exactly the amount Obama is seeking from Congress to secure our borders?
Mexican border patrols were quick to capture, and incarcerate a Us citizen who inadvertently made a wrong turn which resulted in him accidentally crossing the border into Mexico, but they failed to detain or even notice 50,000+ unaccompanied children crossing their southern border on their way to the U.S.? Who fed, clothed, escorted, and transported 50,000+ children as they made their way to the U.S..
There hasn’t been one mention of pursuing charges of child endangerment, child neglect, abandonment, or child abuse, against the parents of these children?
Everybody is somehow an innocent victim… Except the American taxpayer that is?

I didn't vote for the man---never liked him and liked him even less when he pushed for amnesty. However, I'll give him these two things 1) When amnesty was passed, democrats promised him that the border would be secured, illegals would never get hired and this would be the one and only amnesty to ever happen. The dems reneged on all those promises. The border never was secured, illegals are easily finding work and we''ve had several stealth amnesties since then; 2) Before he was stricken with Alzheimer's, he did say that he regretted the 1986 amnesty.

Neither party is looking out for Americans.

It's coming. People are getting THAT pissed. Maybe any illegal aliens you know should be told to leave the US before it really does hit the fan.

And thousands more keep on showing up each day -- this child abuse is being actively encouraged.

The message that is being sent -- turn your child over to complete and criminal strangers, get them over the border and huge rewards await you. Word is spreading to places further south -- Peru, Ecuador -- the elite of those countries can now have their countries rid of their worst social problems, they can dump their most uneducated and impoverished into the USA.

You raised other very good questions. A couple months ago they found a lone 3 year old out in the desert -- luckily the temperatures were moderate then -- the mother was in Mexico ---figuring she could soon follow. Now they've found an abandoned 11 year old's corpse -- but no matter. They're going to reward the relatives of these kids with everything they can.

Most likely the parents of the dead child will sue the US for not having enough water stations in the desert and be awarded millions.
