People should have been doing more like not voting incumbent, not voting for the fools who got us into this mess in the first place. Writing their congressperson etc.

Very interesting to see which states are blocking the relocations and which states are allowing the centers to open. I guess the NE wants the SW to take care of the logistics of feeding and housing the influx of illegal immigrants on their own. Very eye opening, indeed.

There is nothing "funny" about it. Both the Maryland Senators blocked relocations in Baltimore - there is NO Hypocrite like a Leftist Hypocrite. It's disgusting. They have also been blocked in Chicago and at least 3 places in New York and one in Pennsylvania.
1500 are due to arrive today in Las Cruces, NM - a bunch arriving in Albuquerque also. ICE is using Bush International Airport for these illegal aliens and Terminal D for "staging". No idea where they will go after the "staging". I guess Homeland Security is both guarding them and keeping any media and citizens away from finding out what is going on. When you think about it ... an airport is the perfect place to hide what you don't want to public to know about.

The problem is, since we have a 2 party system, is that leaves no one left to vote for.
I saw that some were sent to Berks County, PA. Reading is in Berks county and already has a high rate of poverty and unemployment. Just what that area needs---NOT!---illegal aliens to further worsen an already bad situation

Searched the local papers here (I live within driving distance of Reading) and Reading was chosen because the city has helped house illegal aliens awaiting deportation or adjustment of status hearings. Nearby, in the city of York, PA; also has the largest immigration detention center in the east coast.
