We don't like those who bite the hand that feeds them.

Lord, your posts sound awfully similar to some others, makes me wonder. Anyway, the ILLEGALS come here to take and demand, both of which they have done in spades.

"WE the People" sure sounds good to me.

Americans need to stand up for their hard earned rights against all those who violate our borders and break our laws. Our federal government has turned a deaf ear to us and they have forgotten that the government is by the people for the people...and unless we first put voting pressure on those running for State and National office we will not be heard.

Show me a national poll in the past 20 years showing illegal immigration as a 1st or even 3rd issue. Face it but when it comes to taking the streets you are in the minority.

Perhaps soon we will be able to take advantage of the NAU by buying up huge chunks of Mexico and opening Starbucks' on every corner to take back the dollars getting sucked across the border. Hey, just trying to find a silver lining if we can't find a way to secure our nation and our economy first.

I must admit, I haven't "taken to the streets" on this issue. But, I have called my reps repeatedly, written letters, signed petitions, and tried to convince everyone in my social circle of the importance of stopping illegal immigration.

I would go out and protest tomorrow if I thought that would really have an effect. And, if anyone here can show me how it does, I'll start protesting. But, I've often thought that putting the pressure on politicians may have a greater effect. Plus, I wonder if protesting doesn't end up making us physical targets for the pro-amnesty crowd. From what I've seen on the TV and read, it sounds like they can get pretty agitated and even violent.

I imagine that things could deteriorate pretty quickly into mob attacks and brawls. The media would only blame us.

And, as much as I want to stop illegal immigration, I want to keep the "fight" as civilized as possible.

The estimated number marching on May 1 for illegal immigrant "rights" on the streets of L.A. was one million people. That does not take into consideration the marches across the U.S.

Seems like a pretty representative number to me.

Us Gringos tend to do things in a more subtle manner. If it ever came down to demonstrations against the illegal immigrants and their 'American' handlers; the latter would lose-------------badly.
