Not an illegal immigration issue but...
For those who have been on city data for a while you know who Jdubbsmom was. She was a constant and tenacious champion against illegal immigration. I learned today that she passed away. She and I were friends and although we lost touch this last year or so, I am saddened by her passing. She was an intelligent, articulate woman. ( Our little joke because she also happened to be black). I just thought the old timers on here would like to know.

She was before my time in here but I remember her name being mentioned by my wife. Rest in Peace.

I don't remember her posts specifically, but applaud her tenacity and commitment on this important issue.
Thank you Tinman for your thoughtfulness. Sometimes we forget that behind these anonymous posts are real people.

I remember her. Truly a patriot and champion of our cause. She will be missed.

My prayers are with her and her family.

While I never got to see her posts, it's sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to her family. It sounds like she was someone who cared about our country.

I am sad to hear the news. I liked her and enjoyed her posts a few years back.

My condolences though I don't get the joke.

Way back in 08 a white conservative described Obama as being well spoken and articulate. He was called a racist for describing a black person that way. It had been meant as a compliment. The left wing extremists raged. Obama to his credit took it for how it was meant. Bonita and I joked about it together. To hear her speak you felt as though you were speaking to an English major. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She used tease me and say Negro don't even go there. I am blonde hair and Blue eyes. Very light skin. Two friends joking.

I've seen her name. RIP.

Like they say: I just hope her life wasn't in vain.
