That's not how pro-illegals work. They only want to spend YOUR money.

Spare me. Many if not most of the children sought out Border patrol and surrendered. With the BP now caring for these children who is protecting the border? Why doesn't Obama activate the National guard?

Because they have no useful role to play along the Rio where the prblem is...

Unless you want them to carry the luggage for the illegals...

There appears little evidence that the rest of the border is leaking. The present effort is to get on US soil and surrender.

And who is going to pay the Guard? The Repubs appear clear they are making no money available...so who pays?

Unfortunately, we are obligated BY LAW to give these individuals an immigration hearing. Money is needed to expedite that process. Congress should approve the allocation....as long as the same bill revokes the 2008 law that grants automatic consideration for asylum so we can start immediately deporting any additional arrivals.

If the parents who spend hundreds of dollars (in country where hundreds of dollars is more like thousands or tens of thousands of dollars would be to us) to send their kids to the US get a phone call (or letter or carrier pigeon message) 3 weeks later that they need to come to the nearest international airport and retrieve their offspring, the tidal wave will quickly turn into a trickle.

Agreed. Given the fact that Obama is less than honest or trustworthy any money should also come with very strict guidelines on how it can be spent.

Tell him to take it from the EPA, IRS, NSA, CIA, DHS, Justice department budgets as well as all the foreign aide going to Palestinian terrorists.

Besides this $3.7 billion Obama also asked Congress for more money to buy some new drones.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste" never rang truer.

As commpared to GW Bush who lied to the entire world and the US in particular to start a war Obama is the root of truth and integrity.

The only place where I find Obama significantly off the whole truth is the "Keep your insurance/Doctor/etc" where in fact he was exactly quoting the law.

So I fail to see much of a comparison between Bush's Trillion dollar war and 3.7 billion to fix the border problem.

I'd be all for that. He can't arbitrarily do it, however. Congress must authorize the reallocation of funds between departments.
