Isn't it something that in 4-5 days the initial $2 billion doubled to nearly $4 billion ?

The number of illegals must be astronomical.
Multiple planeloads of illegals going to various cities all over the US 2-3 times per week.
The Border Patrol is now using busses to do their patrols so many are crossing each day.
Multiple US military bases have turned into refugee camps.

I knew that $2 billion wasn't enough.
And $3.7 billion won't be either.

Unless it's going to be spent on airplane fuel to send them back, no thank you.

At least the number is going up. A few days ago, it was 2 billion.

Obama needs to call the border patrol and just tell them to stop letting these clowns in. Unfortunately, according to the law, once they set even one toe on American soil, they get all kinds of rights - food, housing, healthcare, etc.

Laws can be unenforced.

From your link, July 8:

The White House says the money is necessary to cover increased man-hours for border patrol agents and aerial surveillance teams, legal services, the hiring of 40 more teams of immigration judges and care for the children while they are in the country.

None of this has anything to do with stopping the flood of illegals entering the country - and it doesn't have anything to do with deporting them.

From the Washington Post, July 8:

The money would go to several federal agencies: $1.6 billion to the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security; $1.8 billion to Health and Human Services; and $300 million to the State Department, administration officials said.

Funds would be allocated to send more immigration judges to the southern border, build additional detention facilities and add border patrol agents.

Nothing there about Border Security - Border Patrol Agents are spending all their time "processing" these illegal aliens for transport across the USA.

From the Huffington Post, July 7:

WASHINGTON (AP) President Barack Obama is holding off for now on seeking new legal authority to send unaccompanied migrant kids back home faster from the Southern border, following criticism that the administration's planned changes were too harsh.

The White House says the plan is to speed up the processing of Central American border crossers without taking away their due process.

Notice that the HuffPo is talking about $2 Billion and "protecting the rights" of the illegal crossers - this whole thing is done in secrecy to keep people from finding out their Town/City is a Target for re-settlement. Team Obama is more concerned about their Fund Raising and not offending the Open Border advocates than he is about following our Laws and Securing the Borders from an invasion.

I would like to say "this is unbelievable" ..... sadly, we have learned to expect this type of behavior from this Regime that ignores US Law and thinks a "Phone and a Pen" are more powerful that our Constitution and our Laws.

Well, this is the problem. Back in the south american countries. They are told that if they make it inside the USA they are safe and won't get sent back...blah blah blah...so thats all these people care about doing ..Once they get in , they know obama won't send them back and they can be taken care of thus creating more of a drive.

If Obama wants to be a human trafficker he should know enough to get paid upfront not after the job is done.

Yes, when conservatives think that a fertilized egg is a person but refugee children are not, their concerns are clearly political and not moral.
