I've seen it with my own two eyes and I've heard stories from black friends that are simply outrageous. These anecdotes don't come from the Jim Crow era either. They usually start off with "Last week I was out with some girlfriends," or "Last night my husband and I..."

I was once shopping with a black girlfriend of mine at a national chain that shall remain nameless. From the moment we entered the store to the moment we left, we were followed. (I'm white.) I had never been followed around that store before. I mentioned it to her afterwards and she waved her hand and said "Oh, it happens to me all the time." She was blase' about it. I asked her "Doesn't it make you mad?" She said "Hell yes it does, but I can't NOT shop for things just because other people are racists." The next time I went to that store (alone), I asked to speak to the manager and told him about our experience there. He apologized but I'm 100% sure that if we went in there together again, the exact same thing would happen.

Black people are being pushed out of the trades and semi-skilled jobs by illegal immigrants and the effects are devastating. Some people say it's a GOOD thing, since it will compel black people to move up the economic ladder. What they don't understand is that the rungs above them are already packed to the gills with people of all races laid low by the economy and there is simply no room to move up. They face almost insurmountable odds. It's like telling someone who can't pay their bills to buy a lottery ticket. Or hire a nanny.

Black men are routinely victimized by the justice system and convicted of crimes at far higher rates than white and Hispanic defendants, and are given harsher punishments. That's the simple truth. They are put in prison for things that white people would get away with with a warning or a slap on the wrist. They have fewer resources, on average, to mount a vigorous defense against those charges. As a consequence, a lot of them have criminal records and find it difficult to find work except in areas now dominated by illegal immigrants: labor and semi-skilled work. This simply adds insult to injury. "We're going to eff up your life worse than a white person or Hispanic person just because of the color of your skin, and guess what? When you get out of jail, NO JOB FOR YOU because we're pandering to OTHER lawbreakers." I don't think most white people understand how frustrating and unfair that is. I can see why a lot of young black men resort to petty crime to get by. I'm not excusing it, but I do understand it.

A lot of black women are single mothers, for reasons beyond the scope of this discussion. A single mother has it ROUGH. A lot of them string together minimum-wage jobs just to put food on the table and a roof over their kids' heads. Child support? Fuggedaboutit, for the reasons described above. Now we're telling them they should go back to school to retrain for a better job? With what money? Who's going to pay the rent? The light bill? Who's going to take care of the kids? Seriously?

This is the plight of the poor. Of ALL races. (For historical reasons, blacks are much more deeply affected by it than other races.)

I'm surprised there aren't more of them out protesting illegals, frankly.
Can't rep you again, but you nailed it! And a lot of Mexicans have a quite a bit of disdain and dislike towards blacks, so not only are the blacks struggling against some serious odds, but they have to put up with that attitude from foreign invaders as well. I'd be mad, too.

Correct.

Yes, indeed! Agricultural Engineering is a very popular major in states like Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, etc...

Another one...

"Who speaks for me?" Anthony Coulter - YouTube

The woman appearing in the video with Anthony is his fiancé Sabina Durden, a legal, German immigrant. Sabina’s 30-year-old son Dominic Durden was hit and killed by an unlicensed illegal alien driver, with a prior record and no deportations, on July 12, 2012. Dominic was a 911 Dispatcher for Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

It would be wonderful to see whites, blacks, and Hispanics all standing together as Americans to protest this.

I was hit from behind on one of my motorcycles by an unlicensed and uninsured illegal immigrant (Filipino, male) driving someone else's car. It's patently unbelievable that I wasn't injured beyond bumps, bruises, a lot of soreness, and my two smallest toes paralyzed on my right foot.

Besides the fact that the police officer was completely confused because I, the female, was riding the bike and the uninsured male illegal immigrant driver was in the car, fault was clear cut. The car driver tried to pass me on the right on a two-lane road while I had signaled and was turning right. Plenty of witnesses. Over $7,000 damages to my bike, including a bent frame requiring replacement and a complete rebuild of the bike. At impact, the rear of my bike had swung counterclockwise, planting an already right-leaning bike (lean right, turn right) into the left side of the car. My right crash bar (excuse me, "engine guard") saved my right leg from getting crushed, but my bike remained upright, I wasn't thrown off the bike, and the only resultant bodily injury effect was that my right leg was pinned (but not crushed) between my bike and the car.

The car's owner had State Farm insurance. They could have refused coverage because the illegal alien was not insured on that car, but they paid on the claim anyway. I was VERY lucky that was the case. I was also VERY lucky I wasn't killed like Dominic Durden.

And this one is important because it exposes the lie, and the fact that many of you have been duped and manipulated for votes:

"Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness." - Mary Frances Berry, former chairwoman of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights under President Bill Clinton

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I see both parties need to work more on race relation issues. Right now, I am least likely to vote Republican because they don't represent me. I don't like how some Republicans pander to a group that doesn't like minorities. Both parties have blacks last on their list, anyway. It is what it is.

You can't possibly be serious. I took the time to post all those quotes by big name Democratic politicians and Louis Farrakhan, and you have failed to realize they are racists and many don't like minorities?
