This bifurcation has been all over the news and C-Span for a couple of weeks, now.

Congressman Cuellar from TX has been a talking head on every cable station and C-Span on this issue daily. He and Cornyn are planning to draft an amendment similar to the other two.

Cuellar wants - he is very clear about that - these Central American "refugees" to be treated EXACTLY the same as Mexicans.

People have a hard time getting through their heads these illegals (as we feel they are) have different legal rights under American law - depending on the country of origin.
I read that Mexicans are being told to say they are from central America now so they can stay

Route the buses to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue 24/7. Let the kiddies run amok in the richest neighborhoods waving their silly flags, and writing slogans on pristine walls, littering KFC wrappers, and big gulp containers dropping cooties along the way. Maybe the elite crowd will stick them on Bus Gus. Fifty ways to leave the country.

The Murietta protests helped, but sadly, not in the way we think. The government did not stand down until members of various African-American organizations started busing members in from Los Angeles to also protest. That's what the administration could not have happening.

Tea Partiers telling illegals to go home: All over the &PM National News as Unacceptable, racist and bad for America

Black Panthers from Watts at the same protests calling out Obama, How dare he give these Mexican's the freebies he promised only to us: Call off the planes and busses and shut those cameras down.

Sad and very true.
Same happened in Houston.

The Hispanics outnumber the Blacks though and the FedGov knows that.
Hispanics are becoming the new victim class.

It isn't only about the freebies.

Black callers to C-Span - which I listen to EVERY day - from all areas of the country - feel the low paying jobs they once did are now going to illegals at even lower wages - and that these illegals are being exploited, which makes them even more desirable to employers.

These black callers are very angry at their high rates of unemployment which they believe - by virtue of their own experiences - is due to competition from illegals.

These black callers - - including those here legally from Africa who waited a long time for legal status - are also very much AGAINST amnesty and "comprehensive" immigration reform.

Immigration is a very hot topic for that voting bloc.

If this immigration issue isn't dealt with - and soon - the Democrats may very well lose the White House. Obama drove that voting bloc in 2008 and 2012. Once he's gone, the incentive for many of them to continue to vote will be gone, as well. Some are even saying they'll be voting Republican specifically because of the immigration/amnesty issue.

Blacks, generally, are very angry about illegals. Many of them are quite articulate on the issue.
