You can't think thing there are just like here...very little is the same.
I'm sure they're not. However, as I said the poor that are flooding our borders right now from Central America have nothing to extort.

The gangs will.....give them time.

I do not see the same things exactly as Honduras.....what I see the gangs doing is kidnapping.

In northern Mexico today kidnapping is how the gangs get money and control people.

But as I said those with no money wouldn't be kidnapped for extortion. I am guessing that the thousands flooding our borders of late are mostly the poor and coming here not because their lives are in danger but to get in on the gravy train. From reading the posts in here however it appears that some are gang members themselves.

Thanks Snowball7 for the extensive answer. This illegal business is not as common in this area as in some parts of the country though it's rapidly spreading I fear. We have mostly Cubans many of whom were business or property owners whose assets were appropriated and are productive I find no fault with. I worry about this madhouse free for all bankrupting the country, the lack of vetting for undesirables and criminals or terrorists, the complete disregard of any laws, and am incensed that non-citizens are able to vote.
