They must have gotten a seriously good Federal contract. I think it runs about $600 to $900 here.

Edit: Ok, now I'm irritated. The current rates are $1714 to $1977 a month per child. Every day I hear on the radio "donate school supplies, donate pajamas, donate shoes" because foster children go without. At nearly $2000 a month, I'm thinking the foster parent can afford a trip to WalMart.
