I'm very confused as to why people who decry population growth and environmental destruction, seem to love illegal immigration.
I see articles all the time from politicians who are always screaming about population growth and environmental concerns begging for millions of more people to put additional strain on our water and land resources.
The southwest border is littered with trash from migrants who cross "environmentally sensitive" protected regions and literally destroy them. Why no concern and why no outrage?
These same people decry the ever increasing population growth yet love the idea of massive population growth from migrants.
Because many of these same people also suffer from an overly developed sense of societal guilt. In short they believe that because we have more we owe it to those with less. How do you pay for it? LOL Big government because all know big brother knows best. As we have observed our elected reps and their appointees are oh so trust worthy.
These are the same people that won't speak out against horrendous crimes against women--"honor" killings, stoning to death, female genital mutilation that takes place in the "religion of peace." I haven't figured that one out either.
The same people who filed lawsuits against San Diego exceeding it's allotted Colorado River draw saying desalinization was more progressive then filed a lawsuit against the Carlsbad desalinization plant to stop it's construction.
Years ago, liberals actually cared about the environment. They were very concerned about pollution and overpopulation. In fact, many decided to not have children because they didn't want to overpopulate the world. The pushed Zero Population Growth.
Now they've done a complete 180 and have become nothing but hypocrites. They wring their hands about environmental destruction and pollution yet they encourage illegal immigration.
The Sierra Club are huge hypocrites. When Carl Pope was president of the Sierra Club, he agreed to take a large donation on the condition that the Sierra Club never discuss how illegals dump trash on fragile desert ecosystems or how, due to overpopulation, we're running out of potable water.
So, if you care about the environment and overpopulation, be sure to never give so much of a cent of your hard-earned money to the Sierra Club:

I was born and raised in Southern Cal. I moved away for exciting work and returned and bought a home in Newport Coast. I lived in Cal until I realized no one in authority wanted to make and maintain it as a good place for all to live in. Instead, government increased property rates to ridiculous, unsustainable highs so we could own a home and support two families of illegal aliens. Look where that went. For those of you who stayed, you can vote to have water as an option for more money. If you voted by staying and participating in this madness, don't blame the governor. All you had to do was find another paradise to develop or loot.
