Obama is rocking the free world. Free rewards for criminal behavior. Break our laws and win an all expense paid vacation to Palm Aire Resort.
Here is an idea. Call Sheriff Joe. "hey Joe I need to get a tent city detention center together. How do I go about doing that?"

Agreed. Tent cities are good enough.

It sure as hell isn't going to look like that after these kids get through with it.

How many homeless veterans are in the US, how many American families are living in their cars or the streets, how many people have had to move in with family or friends because they lost their jobs and can't afford a home of their own ! The contract is for $50 million each year. Does this include the wages for the 650 employees, or will that be billed separately to the taxpayers of the US.

".......Piferrer told the Valley Morning Star the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites facility would ‘(provide) medical and mental health care, on-site educational programs, recreational programs and case management."

Doesn't sound like these kids will be deported anytime soon !

On a related note...."Up to 600 unaccompanied immigrant children may soon be heading to Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State."

Clearly a long term solution to the problem is needed. We simply can't afford to house every illegal minor in comfort while homeless veterans fend for themselves on our streets. I am not saying that there is a simple answer but we need to send a strong message to Mexico, Central and South America that the border is closed; and illegals will be deported promptly regardless of age.

How about our seniors also? They can't get any help unless they are nearly homeless and dead broke. If in poor health their kids have to care for them while trying to work outside the home to support themselves and their own kids.
