Does McCain support illegal immigration in peace time, or just for the purposes of waging war? (No, I'm not serious. Just having fun with a totally ludicrous statement. Insulting to anyone's intelligence, Hispanic Americans in particular)....
How is this any differerent than if David Duke (or his ilk) had said, "I'm AGAINST illegal immigrants being legalized, because some of THE WORST GANG-BANGERS in LA are HISPANIC". Neither this statement, nor McCain's, makes sense. Is "illegal" now a new ethnicity?

I have many Hispanic friends. They are wonderful people and I value their friendship. They, however are legal citizens and donít share McCainís desire to grant amnesty to 20+ million Hispanics that didnít come here legally.
Besides McCain is a worthless has been that will soon go away never to be heard from again.

I'm sick of the pandering too. Who cares what race people are so long as they are here legally and follow the rule of law. No one is better than anyone else by way of their race.

And; 'Hispanic' is not a race anyways. Most of the ones here are non US American Indians but are ashamed to admit to it due to the White Supremacy in Hispanic culture hence weasel words like 'Hispanic, Latino', etc.

These politicians are a bunch of pansies - wouldn't you think they'd rather appeal to the whole population (mostly against illegal immigration) than to some special interest group?

Isn't that the way to get more votes? Why pander to a specific group of any kind, since they would not have the majority's ideas?

"The whole population" doesn't line their pockets; special interest groups do. If ever faced with a "why" question, the answer is always "just follow the money."

It's sad what has happened to McCain - I wonder if we could raise Goldwater from the grave...

I may not have agreed with Goldwater on a lot of issues; but, the man at least earned my respect.

As for McCain and his attitude towards Americans; he more and more reminds me of a certain traitor also associated with the Hanoi Hilton.

Nothing I've heard from McCain recently has struck me as logical.
