Great post, Proud.

Duncan Hunter is looking better and better as we get closer to the big day.

Obviously those Democrat Goons had this all planned when they approved The Fence . . . NO MONEY!

"Duncan Hunter is looking better and better as we get closer to the big day."

You are right about Duncan Hunter. But so few Americans know about him.

Even the Democrats of San Diego vote for him.

I hope more people learn about Duncan Hunter, before we end up voting for Hillary and Rudy...

That is one scary thought, Proud.

History repeats . . . let's hope we don't end up with another Jimmy Carter vs Gerald Ford fiasco!

With the exception of Bush, a resounding YES the Republicans are better! Just because Bush was/is ineffective on the issue doesn't mean the other Republicans are or well be. Remember the link I posted a while back which shows the candidates stance on the immigration issues? Nearly all of the Republicans are fair to excellent whereas all the Democrats are poor to abysmal. Also, if you watch the legistation being presented in the various states cracking down on illegals 90% or more is being brought by Republicans. There are always a FEW exceptions on the Democratic side, and most of those after things have gone to hell in a hand basket and incumbents fear for their careers, but for the most part Republicans are MUCH, MUCH stronger on this issue period. If a Democrat gets in office we might see some work on the border but it won't be much and they will push amnesty down our throats.

If only Duncan Hunter told you the truth about who proposed the amendment that screwed up your fence.

The problem arises when one believes whatever is told to you by some politician or 'other'.......

Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, a Republican from Texas slipped the amendment into the funding bill.

Hunter says that because the Democratic controlled Congress passed a massive Omnibus funding bill of which the fence was just a very small part, that the changes to the funding of the fence is a Democratic conspiracy to stab fence supporters in the back.

Truth is, the Texas Republican Hutchison is responsible for the amendment, and Republicans approved the amendment.

Try fact checking the Congressional Record next time Duncan Hunter tells you something.

He's out to save his own neck, ....the truth doesn't enter into his mind when he goes about it.

By my count, starting with the Capn, each of you got played by Hunter.

How does she manage to slip the amendment into a House bill, when she is in the Senate?

No bush and his 6 year rubber stamped republican dominated House were together ineffective on the issue. I don’t see how it is now the fault of the dems who only have a slim lead and only in “symbolic” control for the last year.
