HUD Will Force Illegal Immigrants on Neighborhoods

The housing rule passed July, 2013 ties government zoning rules to HUD grants and it opens communities up to lawsuits if they refuse their quota.

Every town and city that accepts federal block grants through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will necessarily abide by the rule change to the Fair Housing Act of 1968 passed in 2013.

Any town or city taking grants, starting in October, will see HUD come in and rezone entire areas that do not include enough affordable housing according to their standards and according to who they define as “protected classes” of people. Packets have already been forwarded to grant recipients.

...
Obama has given out $3.8 billion in grants to date to 1200 municipalities. They will all be subject to zoning changes and the consequent redistribution.

So basically if you receive government funds for anything - you are susceptible to be bullied by the Administration to accept rules you had no idea would come into play.

------------------

Obama's not-so-secret HUD plan to resettle millions of illegal immigrants in your community

Houston, currently controlled by Democrats, has accepted $38.5 million of these community development block grants. Harris County has accepted another $10.3 million.

Dallas, another Democrat stronghold, has accepted $16.6 million, and Dallas County took $2.1 million.

Austin, too controlled by Democrats, took $7.5 million of the grants.

Republicans at the state level cannot block these grants going to these municipalities, and now, thanks to the HUD rule, by virtue of accepting the grants, bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. will get to redraw zoning maps along racial and income boundaries to include more “affordable” units and combat “discrimination.”

It has all the hallmarks of a master plan. Too conspiratorial? It does not take a cynic to see who the winners and losers will be in implementing the racial housing quotas.

...
What emerges is a plan to resettle as many as 20 million illegal immigrants in specific communities as a pretext to tilt the political scales on the national and local political scenes to favor Democrats.

I have stated before that the Democrats are attempting to hack the elections. This takes place in October right before the midterm elections.

The House has passed a bill to defund this operation... but it has to go to the Senate where it will probably go the way of numerous other House passed bills.

If this is true, then it's social engineering. The communists did that sort of thing---telling people where to live. What's next? Are we going to be told what jobs we will be doing and what post high school courses we'll have to take?

History...

HUD Plays Hardball With Westchester County

July 2011... The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development is starting to play hardball with Westchester County over its plans for affordable housing units.

HUD is withholding federal money that is due Westchester because, the agency has said, the county’s plans for adding affordable housing units within its borders do not adequately satisfy fair-housing laws.

...
HUD earlier this month rejected the county’s affordable housing plans for the fifth time. As a result, the agency has withheld $7.3 million in yearly federal housing funds allocated to the county.

In a letter, HUD called on the county to challenge the zoning practices of its municipalities and outline what it will do if they fail to comply. The agency also asked that half of the affordable dwellings have three bedrooms, a provision that Westchester officials say would be too costly.

Sounds like this is not their first rodeo.

I wonder how much cities and municipalities could do without federal money. Federal money is toxic right now.

Yes, Obama plans to go pick up 6 million immigrants in their own country and bring them here--an estimated 6 million more, a small percentage of which are children, by summer's end. Then he plans sweeping amnesty through an executive order which will also expand DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).

Congress is working on a border crisis bill. We are being asked to contact our Congressmen to let them know that any border crisis bill must include language that stops Obama's executive action and expansion of DACA which he now plans for the end of the summer, after bringing in another 6 million immigrants. It must be made as a precondition to passing the bill that Obama will not be able to enter an executive action to grant amnesty and expand DACA.

Illinois Congressmen Gutierrez, an avid supporter of LaRaza, is on record saying "Americans must be punished."

Please contact your representatives and ask them to include the above language in any border crisis bill and ask them where they stand: Do they support gaining jobs, wages and good communities for their constituents or not. You may have to search but they generally have toll free numbers to their office. Apparently phone calls are better than emails, but you can do one or both.

If you don't know who your Congressmen are, you can click on the "Senators" link at the top at OpenCongress - 113th Congress - Track bills, votes, senators, and representatives in the U.S. Congress and then on your Congressmen's website to the right. You will have to enter your zip code and address even to email them. If someone knows an easier way, please post it here.

Thanks very much.
