If it's choosing between dying and having a chance at life for your kids, you would do the same thing.

It's that simple. Don't complicate it. Put yourself in these people's shoes for just ONE minute.

And don't make them seem like evil people or want to destroy America - come on. It's not right.

Try it yourself. Pretend you live in El Salvador for instance. Research the process to come here legally. Tell me your results.
And yet they will pay a coyote thousands to smuggle them. Whoops there went that excuse.
We as a nation have no responsibility to make it easy for anyone. In fact if we decided that we only want purple skinned raven haired immigrants we are well within our rights to do so.
As it stands the USA allows more immigration than all other nations combined.
I am immigrating to another country in 4 years. Requirements include.
$40,000 in a bank in that country for at least 6 months.
Monthly income of at least $2200.00
No criminal record.
That is just to start.
Illegals are your average garden variety criminal. They do what they want and ignore our laws when it benefits their own needs. They disregard our rights as a nation, disregard the harm they do our citizens. This is not a victimless crime. How many people have had their credit destroyed by an illegal using their ID, SSN etc? How many Americans have been forced from their trades by illegals lowballing the work? How many victims of illegals driving without insurance? How many illegals in our prisons for violent crimes? How many school districts were forced to raise taxes to pay for the increased costs with educating the children of illegals? The list is endless.
Rewarding unwanted behavior is never the answer, especially when the behavior is criminal.

You have no clue what people do to get here.

Keep assuming. You think these people pay in one shot? They have family members here help them and or make payments for "work" when they get here. All while risking their lives and being raped.

God bless you. How fortunate that you have the means to leave this country. Have a safe trip.

Why not work and save to pay for the application fees?
How do you know what they have to go through? Did you walk the journey with them or just buy into the sob stories?
Here is an idea. Don't break laws, don't commit document fraud, don't evade taxes or commit tax evasion and earn your way in like every legal immigrant does.
One more time. Our Government doesn't owe anyone a VISA, not even my daughter. What they do owe are immigration laws that protect the needs of the people of our nation. We the people simply can't afford any addition burdens.

They may not be illegal, but their actions are. No matter the reason they are breaking the law. If a mother steals to feed her children, she is doing it for a reason, but the act is still illegal.

And while I sympathize with those that are looking for a better life for their families, we are not "one world", and if that life comes at a cost to US citizens, then I DO have a problem with it.

They seem to have thousands of thousands to pay coyotes to escort them and/or their children.
They seem to have thousands and thousands to "send home".

Illegal = status in this country. Alien =foreigner. Where's the negative term? Those are just the facts and according to immigration law they are illegal aliens not "undocumented". Don't like it? Oh well!

Ha. If you go to another country without documentation, now you would be called "illegal" and it should be.

You know what happens in most nations where people are taken advantage of by their government? They stand up to it, they fight back they cause a revolution.

If one ILLEGAL would stay at home and organize for a BETTER FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES we wouldn't have the problem in the USA that we have today. Meanwhile scumbags like drug cartels control their governments and institutions to the point of submission and they're doing it in the USA as well.

Get off your high horse of "these are God's children looking for a better life", you're not going to shame anyone into feeling sorry for them here.

They're parasites and the US government needs to do their damn job and protect its taxpaying citizens from invasion by a foreign element.
