YUBA CITY (CBS13) — A Yuba City teenager is in danger of being deported after she tried to raise money for a prom dress by selling pot-laced brownies.

Saira Munoz wanted to go to prom, but when she didn’t have money for a dress, she became an entrepreneur.
“People make mistakes,” said Carlos Robles, a friend of the teen.

"People make mistakes?" The young lady's first mistake was being a pot head and spending her money on dope instead of saving.

Saving and planning would have negated the need to sell drugs to fellow students. How about buying a dress second hand? Borrowing? Lots of ways to do things legally. Sure hope this kid was not on any form of public assistance. That she would have money for drugs while being on tax payer funded assistance would sure anger me.

Where is the sympathy for the kid she made sick? Of course, that student shares responsibility for buying the illegal brownies.

Hmm. When I was a teenager and wanted a pricey pair of designer jeans that my parents felt I didn't need, they told me to earn the money myself. So I did...I babysat, I did chores, I bought candy in bulk at Sam's and sold it at school, etc. And I bought those jeans and wore the crap out of them.

Pot-laced brownies. Seriously.

Mmmm... lessons learned at home? I am surprised she didn't just break into the store and steal the dress.

We better be careful or she'll drop an anchor baby, guaranteeing a lifetime of assistance.

We can't even manage to deport murderers--I doubt anything will happen with this.

If this girl gets deported, I'll eat a whole pan of chocolate fudge iced brownies with nuts and caramel.
