We had a lady here who took in people for their government checks. Then she killed them and buried them in her backyard and advertised for new "boarders" while still receiving the checks for the dead ones.
There are so many downsides to this I wonder if it's even true. Take the people, get the check, throw them out. Fill the house with 20 or 30 people, move elsewhere with all the checks. We'd be opening up a whole new line of criminal opportunities on how to scam all this.
Indeed. How about fostering homeless veterans and the homeless unemployed currently living in tent cities. Go to any local rescue mission. Homeless Americans aren't hard to find.
I say those American Citizens should be fostered - and the illegals put in tent cities.
Cities will be passing codes against the number of non-relatives that can live in one house....just give it time.
I agree! Some of those "kids" could well be MS-13 members who have no problems killing people.
Our county has overcrowding laws that say only so many unrelated people can live in a house. The law is a joke and a laughingstock. They go to a flophouse with 20-30 people in it and the person who answers the door says that they are all related---and guess what? They get to keep living that way. Some even get away with saying "We're all from the same village."
At the houses where they haven't figured out how to lie and say everybody is related, they kick out some of the people and then the inspector says we'll be back on such-and-such date at this time. Well...of course, when the inspector gets there, everything is okay. After s/he leaves, the rest of the people move right back in.

If you are thinking about taking some of these people in be aware their laws are different from ours.
Having sex with a young girl/boy is not a big deal to them.
I had a case of telling a man over and over NOT to see a young girl he liked.......he would argue that SHE came on to HIM.
