Illegals from Mexico are starting to look good now eh ?

What you are seeing entering the country are true third world peoples who live in abject poverty.
Most don't make it past 3rd grade.

Put them in public housing or give them section 8 vouchers - do you think they would live any different? The squalor they are creating in the detention centers makes them feel right at home and is indicative of how they lived all their lives. This is the type of lifestyle that they will create given the opportunity to stay in the US and find housing.

Any wonder why people are protesting having them dumped in their communities in detention centers? Any wonder why after the Murietta protest government stopped announcing what areas they would be dumping illegals?

Will American taxpayer dollars be spent on courses teaching them personal hygiene and cleanliness??

Puh-leeze... we have had hundreds dumped in San Jose, with thousands more to come. The Bay Area has turned into the most expensive place overall in the country. There is no room, we're in the worst drought ever (never mind, they don't bathe or use toilets, that oughta help). Plus, California is overrun with illegals from Mexico. Sigh.

As a lifetime Californian, I can't wait to get out. Miserable winters would be welcomed over the current (and future) state of affairs right here. Something has to give, but until this problem affects the newly-minted tech millionaires and trust fund babies, California will continue its downward spiral.

Ah, no they aren't... we have been overrun with Mexican illegals for the past 25 years, and they are picking up speed. Of course, it's bad in Texas, too.

I am surprised the influx now even made it to third grade.

We tell our children to "get educated" if they want a decent job. Those same recent graduates cannot find work and are thousands in debt from student loans. And we are supposed to welcome a whole new class of people who do not hold our values and instead bring their "culture" here? As with a lot of our South of the Border illegals, they do not try to assimilate, but rather run down the areas in which they live. I know. I have witnessed it first-hand living here for my 65 years. And to think my generation grew up in Utopia compared to what California is now. Yeah, we looked forward to the future with hope and enthusiasm (and education).

In the words of The Who, "Hope I die before I get old(er)."

Of course. Plus a course in using their new O-phones and a course in proper use of their EBT cards.

The GOP plans met with howls of protest from immigration advocates and Democrats, who warned Republicans that they'd be alienating Latino voters for years to come.

'If you tell people that you think they're criminals, that you think they're simply bringing diseases, that they're bringing drugs, then you treat them as invaders, they kind of think you don't like them,' said Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill. 'They're going to believe you don't like them, and they're not going to vote for you.'

That's what it is really about folks. These imbeciles, many of whom are from the very places these people are from, are just trying to get votes to stay in office and get rich. While middle class AMERICANS foot the bill for these wonderfully educated and super bright and healthy contributors to our society as usual with free housing, obama phones, cars, food, medical care, heck they will soon have ObamaTHUGS come take your XBOX to give to the deprived children of illegals who can't figure out that the reason they are so GOD DAMNED POOR is because they keep breeding like rabbits!!! Here is a clue you morons! Get an education and build a career BEFORE you pop out a child. And only have one or two! You don't need to have 15 children just because your third world culture wants you too, when you can't even read at a 3rd grade level or get a job better than picking peaches in an orchard!!!!

I would suggest our elites of both parties have a fundamental blindspot of their own: you cannot maintain a first world economy with a third world population.
