The wait time to get documents isn't my problem. It's theirs. It's their responsibility to deal with the consequences of their parents' choices. Plenty of other American children do so every single day, also through no fault of their own. I don't see anyone wanting to help them.

So, you married an illegal alien and then bribed the Honduran government to get his papers?

I agree BigDGeek, I don't want them here either.

King and Paul were at a fund-raiser. I guarantee if those kids had come up with $1000 checks in their hands, they would have gotten an entirely different reception.

Yes......the paperwork for the visa was dealing with the US government.

Still.....to get a visa.....one needs a passport.......that had to come from Honduras......and that is how business is done.

Do not compare their system to ours......you will be lost.

I doubt it and how did they get in if they didn't have the $1,000 to get in in the first place?

If you're willing to marry an illegal alien, how did you become anti illegal immigration? Did the guy use you to get legal status?

I was young.

Did he use me???

I don't know......he did get his visa (green card).

There is two year form that has to be filed.....after that the marriage is not part of the visa.

He went back to Honduras after seven years.

Our culture was just to much for him......now he is in Japan.

I am much more conservative now that I am older.

My X-husband was highly educated.....he had a great job.....and he could not make it in the USA.

I just do not think the people crossing into the USA now will do much better.
