with help from our "allies" at the UN:

How ICE began laxing enforcement in 2011:

The Morton Memos | Federation for American Immigration Reform

and this explains in more detail how it all came together to create the current "crisis":

Homeland Security Joined UN Migration Organization, Triggered Border Crisis | DontComply.com

This wasn't business as usual, same as republicans in this past - this was a conscious choice by Obama to open the floodgates and to encourage this to happen to fundamentally transform this country.

Looks like the same thing is happening in Western Europe, too.

This was all part of Obama's plan to force an amnesty.

Some of this discussion gets truly weird.

If Obama actually had the capability of deporting all the present illegals in the US there might be a good discussion about the use of temporary waivers. But given that he can only deport enough to keep the illegal population from growing it would be quite irrational not to sort the set. You get rid of the least desirable and hold onto the more desirable.

Any other policy would be lots dumb.

We need to face the truth. We are not going to deport the vast majority of the illegals present. And we would probably minimize the total number legalized if we did it quick.

But the government is not funded to do that. It is short 40 or 50 billion of even making a run at it.

If you wish Obama et al to deport everyone...OK. But then you have to put up the dollars to do it.

No money...no deports...simple as that.

First....seal the border.

Then stop feeding them.

Stop employment.

Stop healthcare.

No free rides home....they got here....they can get home.....or, just out of the US....I could care less where they go.

All you need is a little legislation. Go for it. When will you give up? 2020? By then you got another 4 or 5 million illegals if economies break wrong.

Maybe you ought to go for the 50 Billion.
