Well, in a mood today about Kansas government crying about not having enough funds although they are taxing us to death, I decided to look up if a state could require employers to use e-verify. I had asked this question of the Dept of Labor in KS and the man did not know and didn't offer to find out for me which doesn't surprise me. So, I came up with this map which I really like since the house is on the market and we are looking for a decent choice in a state: E-Verify State Map | LawLogix So, it is possible for the state to require employers to e-verify. Now, I'm going to contact my state representatives, who will probably ignore me, about why they don't pass a law requiring e-verify. I know why but I'd like to see what they have to say.

So much of the income earned by these illegal workers goes into Mexico, etc. If you go and stand by the service desk for Western Union, you'll see why the money being spent in town is so little and why the housing is so run down. With our wages, we recirculate them into the local economy but stores are closing one after another at this point. Someone should write an anatomy of a silent takeover of a city next a state and then the big one, our nation. Someone probably already has.

How do I know they are illegal? It doesn't take much observation and intelligence to figure it out after you have lived with it.

I do have sympathy to a certain degree for these people coming in because many are being taken advantage of but that is just another reason to make it stop.

hmmmm This explains why you don't see a whole lot of non-english speaking hispanic walking around any more here in PA. For once they got something right.
