Nope--about the worst I could think of would be to call you a "big selfish uncaring cold-blooded awful meanie who thinks she's better than me".....but that's NOT persecution....

In todays Los Angeles Times, the title was..."illegal migrants..."

Why don't they say, "illegal border crossers"? Not even illegal alien, but call it what it is. If you jump over a fence in the middle of the night to get here, aren't you an illegal border crosser? Or illegal immigrant.

It's always qualified.

And of course in every story about illegal immigrants, it always focuses on what they do, or what they're going to lose. Person X migrated here from Mexico searching for work..."now, there's no jobs anymore, so I'm going back home."

They never tell you the obvious back story. They never tell you person X evaded border security for weeks, jumped over a fence, snuck in a hole in the desert to get here.

It's like they were beamed here and just showed up one day.
