Apparently you don't own a business, it isn't personal, nobody cares who sympathizes with anyone, if you have a business you have a workers. There isn't a farmer who employs illegals who gives a hoot about the plight of the illegal, there is work to be done.

It is silly to the think that capitalists hire people out of some sympathy.

And, if you can figure out how to replace the illegals, go for it, millions of dollars will pour into your pocket.

I do own a business

I comply with the law

Replacing illegals is not the problem you pro illegals try to assert it is -

What does that have to do with my point? You just said it right there, "who cares if they're illegal, there's work to be done". So your argument that "you didn't know, it's impossible to tell if someone's illegal" is complete BS.

Jesus H Christ, you are a one trick pony. Tell you what you are right, a hundred thousand illegals can walk out of the fields right now, and you will replace them, good on ya.

In the meantime I must return to the reality based world.

There are not 100,000 illegals in the fields

You need to recheck your information -

Either that, or the farmer who complies with the law and runs his farm WITHOUT illegals is going to get a hell of a boost in business, and deservingly so.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Feds are monitoring this forum looking for flagrant violators of the immigration laws. The public is starting to hold the feet of Congress, etc. to the fire for them to do something.

The other myth the poster is trying to foist upon us is that only those illegally in the US are willing to work in the fields -

Or, that the only qualified field workers are those here illegally -

Both are untruths - yet, the pro illegal groups keeps telling these lies -

The problem isn’t field workers. Never has been and never will be. That is the “pro illegal” tactic they use to justify their existence.

The problem is they don’t stay in the fields. They take jobs in, construction, factories, and any other job where they can under bid legal workers that can’t work for the same low wage that the illegal does.

It is in the illegals best interest to self deport and get in the legal line if they really want to immigrate to the US.

If they get deported then they will never have the chance to legally live in the US. Americans are cracking down. Amnesty is never going to happen again. Go back and apply the legal way while you have a chance to go back without anyone knowing you were ever here. This is a onetime chance to do the right thing, use it wisely.

I read a study the other day and I'll have to try to find it again. It claimed that less than 5% of all illegal aliens in the U.S. are field workers. The other 95% are mainly in the hotel, restaurant, construction, and various types of fabrication (factory) fields.
