To answer your question, yes, many Latinos are Caucasians.

You have to remember that "Caucasian" is not a skin color, it is a racial classification and racial classifications are more than just skin color. "Caucasian" is a broad term for a racial category that represents people across a spectrum from very light and pale in Scandinavia to very dark in Sri Lanka and everything in between.

Caucasians generally share certain features such as the amount of body hair, range of eye color and common DNA haplogrouping/lineage. Under the Caucasian racial category you get everything from Nordic Swedes to Irish to Germans to Russians, Italians, to Syrians and Turks, to Morrocans, Tunisians and Arabs, Iranians, Afghanistanis, Pakistanis, Indians and Sri Lankans.

Most Hispanics in California are at least 1/2 Caucasian racially, with others being 75% or more. Some Hispanics have more of Asiatic/First Nations look to them and these are generally people from Central American nations but they are not a majority of the Hispanics in California. The majority of Hispanics in California are Mexican-descended and very Caucasian phenotypically.

So, yes, there are lots of Caucasians in California. That being said, most of our Caucasians are going to be Hispanic, Persian, Armenian, Israeli, Russian and Indian.

You will find lighter-skinned Nordic Caucasians scattered throughout towns all over the state, but not in the same quantity as you'd find in someplace like, say, Minnesota or North Dakota.

The original Caucasians don't seem to mind an environment without blonds. Those are some very good-looking people. You don't see them bleaching their hair blonde, either.

You seem to be conflating the anthropological definition of "Caucasian" which includes blond Nordic people, with the individual people of the steppe in the Caucasus Mountain region. Nobody in the nations of the steppe calls themselves "Caucasian", rather they identify as Turks, Georgians, Armenians, Tatars, Tajiks, etc., by their nationality. Yet, all of these people are Caucasians racially, which as I said, is a large swath of people from Sweden to Sri Lanka.
