Most Democratic voters in the primary elections are on Liberal side. Many support Amnesty for illegal immigrants. These voters see deportation and strict immigration enforcement as racist. So the Democratic candidates are soft peddling immigration as an issue.

Once the Democratic Convention determines the candidate who will run under the parties banner, that person will have to promote themselves to a more moderate/conservative voter. Will Obama or Hillary still promote Amnesty or will get get the light? Your predictions?

In reality, there are few candidates in either party who won't go along with some form of amnesty. Anything else would be impractical, and yes, it would probably have some aspects of racial discrimination.

Let's not forget that the vast majority of people who come to the USA without legal documents do so in anticipation of finding employment. And for the most part, they're being hired--by American employers large and small. Many of these employers look the other way; many of these employers are sloppy and negligent in their verification; many of these employers avoid knowing one way or the other. And while some immigrants are able to obtain phony documents, employers still have the ability to verify ... if they really want to.

So if we're going to take a hard stance on illegal labor, then it's only appropriate to include American businesses as equal criminal participants. The politicians are already aware of this, but few of them have the courage to come right out and condemn the illegal American business in the same way that they condemn the illegal Hispanic immigrant. As such, a silent nod toward amnesty is about the only thing they can and will do.

Lightbulb Amnesty!!

Ask yourself if the economy is good? Then ask yourself is there are jobs aplenty? Then ask yourself if you want more foreigners sucking off the welfare system while working for cash? Do you love urban blight spreading at an alarming rate into middle class suburbia? Crimes by illegals... that by the way are at an all time high and impossible to prosecute? Do you want to keep giving your hard earned money back in taxes to support leeching invaders? Well, if answered no even once, then you should Know that shamnesty and unsecure borders account for all of the above. We have a voice and need to use it-numbersusa, FAIR, Alipac, etc. give you the tools to contact your government. JOIN THE FIGHT TO SAVE AMERICA FROM AN ALL OUT INVASION AND BREAKDOWN OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!!!

Worker program yes, amnesty no. Making even more social services available to people that either don't, won't or can't pay taxes makes zero sense if you can avoid it.

I agree with the worker program, but no to amnesty. There are too many decent people waiting in line to come here. What a slap in their face for doing the right thing and taking the legal steps. We are going to need our Mc Jobs in the next few years for our citizens and we will need our social services as well for these troubled times. I will predict that neither candidate will do a freaking thing different than all the ones before him.

Will, I would rather see nothing done (besides the current slow fence building and crack down on illegal business practice) then another shamnesty.

Sadly, you will get amnesty from both. It amazes me how this subject has managed to get swept under the rug this election year. The only thing we could hope for is to email the WH after the election and do not relent.
