Britain offers NATO fences to French port to block migrants < French news | Expatica France
Why is it wrong for the USA to want to block illegals, but it is okay for France? Our President seems bent on rewarding illegals rather than making it more difficult to violate our laws. You know all is lost when rewarding criminal behavior is sold as a solution. Did we not learn from the amnesty of 1985? Yet Obama insists that rewards and carrots are the only solution to the problem.

The problem in France is a drop in the bucket compared to what we face. Yet no elected rep seems willing to go after the root causes or hold the criminals accountable.

I think one thing we learned from President Reagan's decision in 1985 is that it was only a band-aid and he kicked the can down the road rather than attempt a more permanent solution. Yes, no elected rep seems willing to go after the root causes.

Not only that but with this administration encouragement to migrate here illegally seems to be the norm.

In some respects, but they have a Islamist problem that we don't have. We are not wrong, unfortunately the current President is not representing the will of the people, and from his actions apparently favors an automatic citizenship for almost all Illegal Aliens.

They have an Islamist problem and we have a drug cartel problem and possibly an Islamist problem. We also have many many more illegals flooding our borders.
It defies logic to reward these illegals. This President is so focused on pandering that he has lost sight of the needs of a nation.
