Politicians make a lot of money on this issue. Typically, they'd rather saber rattle, get the right wingers worked up and watch the donations come in than actually fix something.
They aren't "teabaggers" they are Teapartiers. By getting something done do you mean pass an amnesty bill? That's the wrong thing for our country. This is not a party issue it's an American issue. The Democrat own this mess right now not your so-called right wingers.

Oh, not just that but when Americans come back from abroad they are not asked to show proof of immunization for anything, let alone for the flu. 100% of Americans are 100% immunized? Much as the CDC wants this, it's not going to happen either.

Yep. It's a big world out there. Thousands of people fly in and out of the USA daily for a variety of reasons. Viruses and bacteria don't discriminate. The only time I was vaccinated for overseas travel was a trip to the Amazon (pleasure). As I recall it was a TB booster, yellow fever shot, DPT booster, and anti-malaria pills (this was eons ago). There might have been one or two more that I can't recall. At that time, as I said it was years ago before all the vaccination scares, I had also been vaccinated against the usual culprits, measles, mumps, etc... .
