Funny how we're the only ones on the planet who are expected to deal with hostile opposing viewpoints in a tolerant and peaceful manner. Are you suggesting that Latinos are more prone to intolerance and committing acts of violence, or am I reading this wrong?

Anyways, I agree with you that the protestors didn't handle themselves in the most upstanding manner and I didn't notice the guy trying to take the sign the first time I watched it, but I see it now.

I recall seeing some videos around from the Baldwin Park protest in California and a few other places that show illegals and/or Latinos physically assualting white Americans, including peaceful old ladies during protests. Maybe later tonight I'll see if I can dig some of these videos up.

That goes for ANYONE.

NOBODY likes people going in their face criticizing them. It is provoking behavior.

Don't try to turn it around and put words in my mouth. Get in anyones face and expect a reaction. No matter what the race.

Mexicans don't set up outside places in southern Orange County or whatever, yelling at anyone who looks white. Most of the fights take place with anti-illegal protesters who cross the line.

Like the part in the first video where the guy says "we take care of your kids". That's so insulting. These were just random people going to the mall, they have no idea if theyre on welfare or whatever.

Latinos are not more prone to violence than any other race or ethnicity. In fact, at first they just walked away.
But when the people kept shouting insults and stuff, and the other Latinos start showing up, how are they going to be all surprised about that?

Open your mouth and start talking stuff to a bunch of people who are growing angry, dont be surprised if they get street on you. They provoked it.

Better off dealing with the lawmakers. These people were more than likely weren't even immigrants.

All the more reason for 'brown' Hispanics to watch their manners and play it cool unless clearly provoked-------the anger against the illegals (85% of them comes from Latin America) is growing.

Machismo will backfire-------badly.

No, more like those protesting Immigrants need to keep it cool and civilized instead of resorting to insults and point their fingers at passer-bys.
You can have your anger, just control it so it doesn't **** off the people youre yelling at.

That is correct as well........I have a severe problem with a bunch of louts (of any race/ethnicity) starting 's**t' for the simple hell of it.

I posted those other videos that show a little more. Protesters verbally harassing people that appear to be hispanic.

In the second video, a guy is peacefully protesting with a sign when someone goes from verbally harassing, to physically trying to take the sign out of his hand.
The guy wacks him with a paper sign and the guy starts crying for the police to take the colored man away.

If your going to make a difference on the problem of illegal immigration, push your lawmakers to make changes. Protest in front of city hall, washington dc, or whatever.

But if you go on the street and start harrassing Latino looking people with anti-Hispanic sentiment, don't be surprised if you get a backlash.

Me and Arizona Bear were having an exchange about the possibility of violence over this issue awhile back.
In most of these videos you see protesters provoking Latinos(illegal or not).

Use common sense and don't turn into a mob harassing people minding their own business. That second video really was really annoying. What a snake that guy was. "Police!! Poliiiiiiice! PUUUUU-LICCEE". You would think he was being stabbed to death.
He's lucky the guy just bomped on the head with a paper sign. The guy with that sign really held himself back.

If anyone was yelling in my face like that, and I was holding myself back, and then he suddenly tried to snatch soemthing out of my hand, his head would be bouncing off that pavement.

Attacks are one thing, death is another.

While everyone is concerned for the well being of the "poor people just here to work" estimates of American citizens killed by illegal aliens since 9/11 range from 28,000-45,000. DEAD.

There will be more Americans killed today, more tomorrow, etc. These people will never see their families and friends again. Pro-illegals are screaming bloody murder over the injustice of illegal families being broken up because they were finally caught, held accountable for THEIR actions and deported. They can reunite simply by going back to Mexico where their families are still alive and breathing.

The Minutemen are accused of shooting Mexicans trying to cross the border, which is a blatant lie. In all the years the Minutemen have been selflessly protecting the border not one such incident has occured. Yet, the wholesale salughter of innocent Americans continue. Where's the outrage???
