Nobody will take her seriously because she has way too much common sense for the average person to buy into. Liberals will hate her for obvious reasons and conservatives will hate her because she said the "bad word" - several times no less.
She reminds me of a smarter version of Anne Coulter.
She lost me a bit on some of her assertions (my eyes tend to glaze over when I hear someone prattle on about "liberals"), but I otherwise agree with a most of it. Surprisingly articulate.
"Spotted Owl" and "Tree Hugger" are standard knee jerk icons of the anti-environment, pro-resource exploitation mindset.
They originated from the Conservation Wars of the Pacific Northwest which was fought over commercial old growth logging in National Forests.
They have nothing to do with oil drilling and their use put's the whole presentation into the same old bag of emotional issues disguised as fact based reason.
