Orphaned by deportation: the crisis of American children left behind

Let's see, first his father broke our immigration laws (his mother also)worked a job illegally and then drove with expired plates but his father shouldn't have been deported? What if this were the kid of American parents whose father had broken three laws (at minimum)? Should he get a pass on justice just because he has a family?

No more sad than when criminal parents are arrested for any other crimes. We don't let citizen criminals off the hook because they have children. The illegals have the option of taking their children with them. Seems to me the bad guy in this story is the illegals.

You're right. Both of his parents were here illegally and now they cry because they have been caught? Note all the attempts at pulling at our heart strings in that article? They do have the choice of the whole family returning to Guatamala so the sob story of the separation of families just doesn't cut it with me. An American would be put in jail and be truly separated from their family for their lawbreaking.

Cry me a damn river, sick of the sob stories. Sick of these people breaking laws, and then think we owe them. We have many of our own citizens with sob stories of their own.

Andrés asks me often, ‘When will this problem be fixed?’ I tell him, ‘Nobody except the president can do something.’”

This "problem" will be fixed when we deport immediately. Period.

Believe me, after the election is over, my money says the moron in the WH will "fix" this "problem."

You see these type of sob stories all over the mainstream media. It is almost laughable how they think that somehow this will actually change someone's mind about illegal immigration. What is really hilarious is how the comments following these stories are virtually 99% against illegal immigration. I find it hard to believe only "right wing extremists" comment online. So the fact that comments from average readers are so heavily tilted against illegal immigration makes me question the accuracy of polls that always say a majority of Americans are in favor of amnesty.

Agreed and MANY "liberals" want illegal aliens deported. Even many "Hispanic" people DON'T like illegals from LatAm. I just want ALL of them gone; including illegal Irish and I'm of Irish family.
