Every major social change starts as a whisper and grows to a deafening roar that can no longer be quieted. We will be able to tell our children that in our lifetimes, we experienced that whisper for change to our immigration policy, and it is just a matter of time before we experience the roar too.

When Will Our Whispers Become a Roar?*|*Arlita McNamee

Really? Seriously?

Uh; more like the "roar" is us Americans saying: OBEY OUR RULES, YOU FOOL!

If I tried that in the Congo; I'd be hung out to dry. Sheesh!

There is no "change" to our immigration policies regarding illegal aliens in the making. It will still be illegal to cross our border without authorization. It's not change/reform....it's amnesty.

The trouble I have with illegal aliens is that they have the ear of the Gov. and are making demands that are likely to be met with taxpayer funded handouts and amnesty to millions.
I have known people that have been in this country illegally and they never made any demands, never signed up for handouts and instead worked to become legal and be able to contribute to society.
It is sad when the struggle of illegals is now being played as a political pawn wiht no regard to the game that is now America. This PC stuff is destroying us.

You don't come here illegally first and then expect to become legal later. The process begins on their native soil not on ours. I disagree that they contribute to our society. They are working for their own selfish gain. In fact, their social costs are breaking our country not to mention the loss of jobs and reduced wages for Americans. Just because there may be some that aren't making demands doesn't make it any less wrong for them to be here.
