You may think so, but he still remains an illegal alien.

Of course, the article uses the very politically correct "undocumented immigrant."

But all "undocumented immigrants" are really youknowwhats.

And that's a nice way of putting it, too.

Just because their parents brought them here illegally does not make this their country. The kids shouldn't be rewarded for their parent's lawbreaking.

Being a Pulitzer Prize winning author does not grant you citizenship within the US.

Tell your story to any other country and see if that gets you in........

More and more we are becoming a nation where the rule of law does not apply any more. The funny thing is its likely to end with states taking back many powers from liberals starting the movement. The wro can always turn as they say.

It will...

He was arrested not too long ago by ICE in Texas...

Jose Antonio Vargas released after detention in Texas - CNN.com

More than likely he will go to court, then file an appeal with ICE and be granted a O1-b visa based upon exceptional abilities, he is a Pulitzer Prize winning author which is more than you will ever accomplish.

Doesn't matter. IF our "gov't" would take care of business, then Vargas would be locked up then deported. But the feds like illegal aliens more than Americans.

Let's say that today you discovered your parents brought you here illegally when you were a child. For sake of the hypothetical, let's say they illegally immigrated from Zimbabwe, which they left because they didn't like Robert Mugabe.

Would you self-deport?

You pay for the sins of your fathers. It isn't fair, but it's just how life works. Sympathy is our Achilles' heel.

I would turn myself in and let justice run its course.
