We won't be able to put a stop to anything unless we eliminate the main souce first.
And not one of these lawbreaking illegels should be rewarded anything. They broke the law and they should pay the consequences as we all do, and not be exempt from anything.
I see what you mean....that pretty well disqualifies him from this discussion. Maybe we should take his age into consideration, and address him in "all caps".
ARIZONA BEAR, HOW ARE WE DOING THIS AFTERNOON? CAN YOU HEAR ME, SIR? ARE WE COMFORTABLE? HAVE WE EATEN ANYTHING SOLID TODAY?
Hope he can read this....any guy in his 50's is probably pretty well 'out of it'.
(On the other hand, AB is a pretty sharp old dude....and he has some great thoughts. I notice a LOT of guys much younger than he, whose posts consist mostly of one-line 'sneers', "LOL's", "Ha Ha Ha's", phrases like "prove it", and VERY little of any real substance. In fact, SOME of these young guys don't do much of anything, except pick on other posters...you know, the 'grumpy old guys' like AB, who do most of the thinking and writing.)

Only you seem to want to lump me in your camp. I guess not enough real pro-illegal supporters so you have to steal some.
The pro illegal immigrant people are showing signs of desperation; public opinion is turning against their cause hence the howls of indignation from the former.

LOL, i don't consider myself open borders or "pro-illegal" or do i need or have the desire to lump you in my "camp". I am all for the borders being secured and proper worker verification being put in place, but i also believe the realistic way to deal with the 12 million undocumented here is to deport those with criminal records and allow the hardworking, taxpaying ones to stay. If that makes me open borders and "pro-illegal" then so be it.

You apparently didn't read the quote i was responding to.
If I'm not mistaken, Friendly blogger stated his/her age is 80. I think AzBear qualifies as being "younger."
Yes, Benicar: I am eighty yers old...a great grandmother. A fifty year old does seem "younger." And perhaps I remember a time when the entire country was red, white and blue. I rememeber a time when becoming a citizen was foremost on the minds of new arrivals. Since welfare etc did not start until the mid forties, people who came here came to work and to become Americans. And when America needed them, they were there carrying the red, white and blue. Some one said recently that I tended to tell one guy stories, when I related real life incidences that occurred in my community. I was thinking. Over the months I have been blogging with many of you, one guy stories came from all over the country.....and if fifty people tell the same type of one guy stories from 50 different states then that is what my college professor would call a "sample." And it is encouraging to know that what I related here is happening in other states and we must remain vigilant to make sure citizenship matters. I hope we are successful in getting Congress to accept a National I.D. card, including picture and fingerprints in the near future. When I first started blogging, I was surprised to hear all the one guy stories from all over the country. Perhaps, I could have been gentler to my opposing bloggers but I fear we are losing the battle every day. I never regarded your stories as one guy stories but more like the "tip of the iceberg" and if we don't control the open borders, the old story of the Trojan Horse will happen soon enough. Some one said, the philosphy of this generation will predict the future of the next generation. So I guess I worry......An eighty year old has a lot to remember....about Old Glory and America the Beautiful.
