In case you haven't noticed, there already are strict requirements. These laws are not being followed nor enforced. THAT'S THE PROBLEM. What on earth makes you think illegals and their enablers will give a darn about any new law that we enact?

Check it out!!!

The WAR is on. You are going to have to come to grips with it

40 States enacted various laws over the last couple of years to deal with illegal immigration.

By the end of 2008, the total should be 45 (or more)

And, like AZ who will be enacting additional measures in the next month or two, tougher sanctions will be enacted all over the country this year

Like I said, you are going to simply have to come to grips with the FACT that Americans are sick and tired of Illegal immigration and the Federal Government's inaction on the issue - so the States are becoming ACTIVELY involved -

Come to grips with reality

Damn.

The first offense is a misdemeanor, not a civil offense. I've stated this over and over. Please stop misrepresenting the law. (Subsequent offenses are indeed felonies.)

A civil offense is an infraction between private parties. A criminal offense is an infraction against the state (the People). Immigration law is criminal law, not civil law. Get it right!

Not paying your rent is a civil offense. Your landlord can sue for damages. Paying your rent with a forged check is a criminal offense. You can go to prison.

You surely cannot be so delusional as to believe that a government which purchases $3,000 toliet seats for the Pentagon because nobody ever bothers to audit the paperwork will be capable of straightening out the legal status of 20 million people in this country illegally.

That assumption is so farcical that it would be laughable if it weren't so utterly dismal.

That sort of mindset is equivalent to greatbasinguide's assertion that there are no illegals, only certified green card holders, picking the nation's produce.

In my hometown of Detroit, the only two livable neighborhoods are areas that have seen an influx of immigrants since 1990, and it's no secret that many brought their undocumented countrymen with them. If anything, maybe our lazy generation of youth could learn a little work ethic from these people we need new blood in this country.
It does not matter why they come here. What matters is the effect they're having, which is that they are ruining this nation just as they've ruined their own.

I could see if these people were in competition for the menial labor jobs the immigrants were lining up to get, but they weren't. They had nothing better to do than to harass people that obviously were worse off then them. They looked like grown up bullies, and it makes me cringe that they would actually claim to do this in the name of my country. No class at all!!
Yeah, if we could all only be as classy as the mouthy little #$%#@ with the clown make-up flipping off the camera. These people just have the marbles to tell these scumbags to go home and get off the streets they grew up on and love. Notice how when the illegals wanted to retaliate they held up the MEXICAN FLAG?? Perhaps if you're so interested in helping these people you can go tell the morons with the Mexican flag that if they're trying to prove how much they "deserve" to be in America, that maybe they should start by holding up an AMERICAN FLAG!!!
